ADB Mission on sections of “Aktobe – Makat” road

In September 12, 2018, representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited Aktobe-Makat road sections in the Aktobe region. The purpose of the ADB mission was to review the implementation of existing projects, including projects of reconstruction of roads "Aktobe-Makat" and "Zhetybai-Zhanaozen".

The mission included the following ADB staff:

1. Mr. Zhang, Advisor and Director of ADB Project under Portfolio Management in Central and West Asia (including environmental protection and acquisition/resettlement);

2. Mr. Nurlan Dzhenchurayev, Senior Environmental Specialist

3. Ms. Aida Satylganova, Social Development Specialist

4. Nema Akuillo, Senior Operations Assistant.

Accompanied by the representatives of the RSE "Aktobezhollaboratoriya", Engineer and Contractors, the ADB mission conducted an inspection of the sites where construction works are being carried out, discussed issues of concern, and provided remarks on some of the shortcomings.

According to the schedule of the mission in September 14 they visited the sections of the road "Zhetybai-Zhanaozen" in Mangistau region. And in September 15 visited the sections of the road "Aktobe - Makat" in Atyrau region.
