"Shymkent-Tashkent" project reconstruction of "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor consists of two sections, located in the Kazygurt area of South Kazakhstan region: section 1 km 742-774 (Lot 1) and section 2 km 774-806 (Lot 2).

The Contract with «Sinohydro Corporation Limited», General Contractor for Lot 1, was signed in September 2, 2014, and the Contract with "Evrascon", General Contractor of Lot 2 was signed in August 22, 2014. "KazdorNII" in association with KazNIiPI “Dortrans” and “Kazi Hasan Associates” is Construction Supervision Consultant, Contract with which was signed in December 2, 2014.

Mobilisation of personnel at both sections is ongoing. Under Lot 1 83 personnel mobilized, including 29 foreign and 54 local staff; under Lot 2 - 65 personnel already mobilized, including 13 foreign and 52 local staff.

Under Lot 1 60equipment mobilized out of the required total number of 194 for 2015, including 4 excavators, 4 loaders, 2 graders, 4 rollers, 20 dump trucks, 1 water bawser, 1 paver, 1 crane, 1 concrete mixer, 1 milling machine, 8 passenger cars and 12 other equipment.

As part of Lot 2, 43 machinery mobilized out of 235 required for 2015, including 1 bulldozer, 3 excavators, 1 truck, 3 graders, 2 rollers, 5 dump trucks, 2 water trucks, 1 paver, 2 truck cranes, 1Cement concrete plant, 1 Thrall, 2 concrete mixers, 6 light vehicles and 13 other equipment.

Employer forwarded Notice to State Architectural and Construction Supervision Authority about commencement of work starting from 15 March 2015.
