Kazakhstan conducts a quality survey of bitumen used in the road industry

Survey of the quality of bitumen, which are used in the country’s road industry, is being conducted in Kazakhstan. The work is carried out on the instructions of the Committee for Roads of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main goal is to provide construction, reconstruction and repair of roads with high-quality bitumen, as well as timely prevention of the use of a low-quality product.

Research is carried out in accordance with the requirements of ST RK 1373-2013. So, to date, in the laboratories of KazdorNII, 8 samples of bitumen from manufacturers such as “POCR” LLP and “Kazakhbitum” LLP have been tested. Bitumen tests were carried out in accordance with the requirements of manufacturing plants. According to the results of the research, it turned out that the bitumen of the plants meets the requirements of the declared regulatory documents. It should be noted that sampling of bitumen was carried out from “manufacturing plants”, as well as construction, reconstruction and repair of roads.
